Germantown HELP needs ongoing donations of nonperishable food, money and diapers (especially sizes 4, 5 and 6).
 

Our CFC (Combined Federal Campaign) number is 57844.
 

We receive donations through America's Charities and the United Way.

Germantown HELP is supported by local churches, individuals, schools, businesses and community groups through food & diaper drives, cash donations and by some grants. We welcome contributions at any time. Please email info.gtownhelp@gmail.com if you have any questions about donating money, food, or diapers to our programs. We will arrange a drop-off or pick-up time.
 

Food Donations
 

Food items we ALWAYS need (because they are part of the standard package we provide our clients) are: 

• breakfast cereal 
• spaghetti sauce 
• mac and cheese
• peanut butter & jelly 
• tuna fish and other canned meats 
• canned fruits, vegetables and soups 
• pasta 

Please note that we purchase dried rice and beans in bulk, so do not generally  need rice or beans (kidney, black, baked, etc.).

Group Sponsorships
 

Local businesses, churches and clubs can support Germantown HELP in many ways. For example, you can: 

• organize a food or diaper drive on your premises 
• donate money directly to Germantown HELP, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 52-1410219) 
• encourage employees to establish a fund to donate to Germantown HELP. One local business had their employees donate money every time they had a cup of coffee! 
• offer your business services to Germantown HELP; for example, printing and postage costs for mailing postcards in the Holiday Giving Project. 
• encourage employees to volunteer for Germantown HELP 
• sponsor a Germantown family (or a bunch!) in the Holiday Giving Project for Thanksgiving and/or December.
